Company History
ENCON International, Inc. was founded in El Paso, Texas in 1989. Since the beginning our staff has provided Consulting Services in Environmental Engineering, Construction Material Testing, and Technical Facilities Support services. Clients continue to be served in both the public and private business sectors. We have provided Environmental and Construction Material Testing Services to local, state and Federal Governmental entities, to School districts, as well as to a wide range of private businesses.
ENCON has been very active in proving Construction Material Testing (CMT) / Geotechnical Services for several U.S. Military installations in Texas and New Mexico. ENCON has also provided CMT Services to general contractors building the Border Fence System along the U.S. and Mexico boundary from the Gulf to the Pacific.
ENCON’s largest project has been a $16,000,000 Environmental Superfund Project for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Project involved working directly for the EPA to clean up over 1M cubic yards of hazardous mine waste at thirteen sites in Kansas, followed by revegetation activities. This prestigious “EPA Superfund” remediation project reflects our increased capabilities and potential to mobilize almost anywhere.
